Alder Springs/birder

Flying Pig productions strikes again.
To the trailhead: From Highway 97 just north of Terrebonne, go west on Lower Bridge Road. Follow Lower Bridge Road for approximately 10.2 miles and turn left onto Holmes Road. Stay on Holmes Road for approximately 2 miles. Turn right onto Forest Road 6360. You will find trailhead parking five miles north on 6360. This road is gated and closed during the winter months.

Coast Trip

Here are a few pictures I took on a trip to Newport a few weeks ago. The Gyrfalcon picture isn't all that good, but I promised some people I would post it for them. The other birds are: male Harlequin Duck, Varied Thrush, Wrentit, and Sanderling.

Yesterday I was at Drake Park in Bend.

There was an immature Snow Goose and

a Cackling Goose with a flock of Canada Geese.
